Hi, I'm Alex Heltzer, a junior majoring in general psychology. My primary interests are Industrial Organizational Psychology and empirical research. I am very excited to continue working in the CLL with Dr. Girgis and the team to grow my knowledge and understanding of research. Ultimately, I aspire to conduct my own study for a project for distinction and earn a PhD. 

My name is Carlita Holloway, I am a psychology major excited to embark on my next chapter as a research assistant. After completing my undergraduate studies, I am eager to dive into the world of research, refine my skills, and making meaningful contributions to the field. Eventually to work with one on one children as a licensed psychologist. 

My name is Julianne Johnson, I am a senior studying psychology with a concentration in mental health. I am deeply interested in childhood development and hope to gain the utmost experience while working with Dr. Girgis and the team. I am determined to learn more about childhood development and the psychological aspects that are associated with it. After I graduate, I plan to pursue a degree in Ed.S in School Psychology. My goal is to work in the school system, impacting students' lives greatly. 

I am a junior at аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊͶע studying psychology with a concentration in elementary education and a minor in childhood studies.  I’m also on the аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊͶע’s Women’s Rowing team.  After I get my degree, I plan to either become an elementary school teacher or possibly a school psychologist. I’ve worked with children throughout high school and college so I would love to be able to make a positive impact on more students’ lives through this lab. 

I am Kasey Nguyen, a third-year at аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊͶע. My goal in the future is to open up my own practice after obtaining a PhD in Psychology and help those in need, whether through research or counseling. My research interests at the moment are focused on moral dilemmas and how information affects the way we perceive decisions. I hope that by studying in the lab I will obtain the ability to research on my own and be able to acquire the skills necessary for a research position in the future.

My name is Riley Perron, and I am a senior Psychology major with a concentration in Mental Health. This education will promote success when earning my Masters's degree. A passion of mine throughout my life has been helping those who aren’t able to help themselves, as well as educating others about healthy lifestyles, relationships, and mental well-being. After I graduate, I intend to utilize what I have learned and implement it professionally and personally. I plan to take the Children’s Learning Lab seriously while exploring new topics, participating in interesting experiments, and making new friends to prepare me for my impending career in Psychology.

My name is Jason Schaub, and I'm a Junior majoring in Psychology with a concentration in Mental Health. My long-term goal is to become a therapist for adolescents. I am passionate about the mental health of youth because they are our future. Conducting research with the team will not only help me build necessary life skills and make new friends but will also set the groundwork for my career.

I’m a senior majoring in psychology, minoring in childhood studies, and concentrating in mental health. Some of my career goals include going to graduate school and eventually becoming a school psychologist. I’m interested in research, cognitive behavioral therapy practices, and mental health advocacy. Through the Children’s Learning Lab, I look forward to gaining experience and learning more about how children perceive aspects of the world.

I am Juan Haro-Vasquez I am a senior majoring in Psychology with a concentration in Mental Health. Long term goals that I have for myself are to get accepted into graduate school, become licensed, and to make a positive change within the field of Psychology. Research that interests me the most is the kind that involves eating since it is a daily act that people do not put much thought into. What I hope to get out of working in the lab is to gain real research skills that can follow me throughout my psychology career.
