NJ Transfer information

NJ Transfer is a tool that can be utilized to find course equivalencies across NJ community colleges to аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊͶע. Potential аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊͶע students can utilize NJ Transfer to see which courses they should be taking at their community college to prepare them for a smooth transition into their Bachelor degree program at аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊͶע. Current аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊͶע students can also utilize NJ Transfer to see course equivalencies if they are considering taking summer/winter courses at their local community college. Simply visit to utilize their tools. 

 

How do I know which courses I should choose at my community college if I want to come to аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊͶע after?

• Go to .
• Click "Students" drop down.
• Click "Transfer Programs".
• Select your community college in the "Transfer from" drop down. 
• Select "аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊͶע" in the "Transfer to" drop down.
• Click on your intended major at аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊͶע. 
• A guideline of courses at your community college will appear that have been reccommended by аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊͶע to transfer into the аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊͶע program.

 

How do I figure out what the equivalency is for my аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊͶע course at a community college for current аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊͶע students? 

• Go to .
• Click "Students" drop down. 
• Click "Find course equivalencies". 
• Select your community college in the "Transfer from" drop down. 
• Select "аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊͶע" in the "Transfer to" drop down.
• Click "List all equivalencies". 
• Click the boxes next to "Active courses" and "Courses evaluated for transfer only".
• Click "Search".
• Scroll to find the аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊͶע course you need on the right hand side, and the community college equivalent will be listed to the left of it. 
• Fill out the "Permission to take courses at another institution form" and get it signed by your preceptor, program chair, and an academic advisor. 
• After taking the course, be sure to send your offical transcript to the Registrar.
