Council of Black Faculty and Staff Awards Dinner

Galloway, N.J. – The Council of Black Faculty and Staff will hold its 37th Annual Scholarship Awards Dinner at 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9 at The Carriage House Grand Savannah Ballroom.  

This year’s honorees have been chosen for their service to аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊͶע, the community, and the state of New JerCouncil Kaleem Shabazzsey. They are:Dr. Walter L. Tarver, III

Lifetime Recipients: Kaleem Shabazz, Atlantic City Third Ward Councilman, and Dr. Walter L. Tarver, III, Assistant Vice President of Transitions and Retention.

Merit Honorees: Diane Epps, retired manager of the Office of Institutional Diversity and Equity, and DrDiane Epps. Maralyn W. Mason, director of the Educational Opportunity Fund Program.Dr. Maralyn W. Mason

Distinguished Ð°ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊͶע Alumni: The Rev. Adriane Larau Blair Wise, Minister of Christian Spiritual Formation at the historic Metropolitan Baptist Church, and Raymond Royster, ’05, Owner/Operator of Digital Photos by Ray.

Special Recognition Honoree: Dr. Juanita J. High, retired administrator and member of the аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊͶע Foundation Board Rev. Adriane Larau Blaire Wiseof Directors.Raymond Royster

Outstanding аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊͶע Club: Highest Praise Gospel Choir.

The Council’s annual dinner helps support scholarships for аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊͶע students. The Council of Black Faculty and Staff work tirelessly for educational opportunities for African-American students, and other underrepresented student groups at аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊͶע.  

Ticket are $85 per seat, or $850 for a table of 10. Proceeds from this event will support the Council’s Scholarship Endowment for аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊͶע students.
