MSAC Electives: Electives are 9-credit bundles of courses or extended work experiences with CPA firms, private industry, government agencies, or non-profits. Students choose two 9-credit bundles to fulfill the elective requirements for the MSAC program. It is recommended to contact the MSAC Program Chair or your preceptor for guidance in choosing electives for the concentrations

Internship opportunities are built into the curriculum to provide hands-on learning. 

Application Deadline

While graduate admissions selection committees review applications until the start of the semester, by applying prior to the Priority Deadline, you can ensure that your transition to 新澳门六合彩投注 is as smooth as possible: you will be invited to the New Student Orientation Event, and have access to priority registration which means you may have more options for monthly installments of a payment plan, as well as greater options for class selection.

Within a year of their undergraduate graduation, graduates of any undergraduate program in the 新澳门六合彩投注 School of Business may obtain Direct Entry into the MSAC program provided they meet all of the MSAC foundation and prerequisite requirements through their undergraduate coursework.

BS/MSAC Dual Degree

Complete your undergraduate degree and an MS in Accounting (BS/MSAC) in approximately 5 years.

The Accelerated Dual Degree Program will prepare students for professional careers in accounting. One of the principal goals of the program is to provide a cost-effective and relevant path to complete the 150-credit education requirement for CPA licensure. The MSAC integrates experiential learning opportunities inside and outside the classroom with a deep dive into the concepts critical to success as a CPA.

Learning Goal 1: Technical Competencies

Students will develop, demonstrate, apply, and synthesize knowledge and technical skills in auditing, taxation, financial accounting and reporting, cost accounting, and accounting information systems to analyze and solve business problems and improve business practices.

Students will utilize prevailing technological trends and software applications and demonstrate proficiency in leveraging data analytics techniques to solve problems in auditing, taxation, financial reporting, cost accounting, and accounting information systems.
