Greek organizations at 新澳门六合彩投注 were among the very first student clubs and organizations. The first fraternity was founded in December 1971 (Sigma Sigma Chi) and the first sorority in Spring 1972 (possibly Sigma Theta Chi). Today, Greek life at 新澳门六合彩投注 is one way for students to engage with the community and each other and collectively makes up 13% of the undergraduate population and thousands of alumni. Students have around 30 Greek-letter organizations to choose from that offer a range of interests for their members through community service, academic achievement and philanthropic causes.

Service is the main goal for Greek life at 新澳门六合彩投注 as the University prides itself on supporting and contributing to the surrounding community. Every fraternity and sorority member is charged with raising funds and awareness for both national and local causes. Through this work, Greeks see firsthand how service work impacts the 新澳门六合彩投注 community and themselves.

At 新澳门六合彩投注, Greek life events are open to all students, faculty and community members. Greek life significantly strengthens the 新澳门六合彩投注 community through the service of the members and the relationships built.
